The Stanton STR8.150 High-Torque "Skip-Proof" Straight Arm Turntable features a motor capable of delivering 4.5 kgf-cm of torque combined with a straight tonearm and platter designed for stability when performing at a party or in the club. The heavy-duty metal construction, high performance motor, low feedback tone arm, and stable platter enable more precise control when for turntablism techniques such as scratching.
Additional controls include key correction, reverse play, start/brake adjustment, 3 speed settings (33, 45, and 78 RPM), quartz lock, selectable pitch control (±8%, ±25%, ±50%), selectable phono or line output, feet height adjustment, and tone arm height adjustment.
The motor can be turned off for hand powered playing and the target light can be removed when not needed. As an added benefit, the turntable can send a digital S/PDIF output directly to an audio interface or compatible digital mixer. The turntable comes with a Stanton SM V.3 cartridge, a slip mat, and "L" shaped interconnect cables.
